David Archuleta will release his self-titled album "David Archuleta" on 11 November (tentative) which I find odd because he's gonna release the album before David Cook. I don't think this date is credible though. Yeah. Ok. Never mind. It's confirmed it will be released before David Cook's album. Hmph. The battle of the Davids. And David Archuleta wants a 'Miley Touch' in the album. Damn, he should work with other stars.
Tentative Tracks:
1. Crush 2. My Hands 3. Touch My Hand 4. A Little Too Not Over You
Crush
[10/10]
This song rocks to the core. You never get bored listening to this song. I can't put a better quality video cos most of the videos have embeded codes disabled due to request which I've no idea why. Anyway, the song has got a really good tune that leaves you really addicted and the song speaks a lot to those who are in love/falling in love/left in love and whatever. xD. It has outsold David Cook's first single (I'm not sure 'Time Of My Life' or 'Lights On' and has been the first time this happens in the Idol history.
Season 7th American Idol Winner David Cook will be releasing his (not so) debut album on 18 November in the United States. He actually has another album done before American Idol called "Analog Heart" but he removed it from the website when he entered American Idol. However, somehow or someone got it up the internet and some of the songs became instant hits.
I'll do a proper review when it's out. Hope it's good.
Track Listing:
1. Declaration 2. Heroes 3. Light On (This is his 1st single) 4. Come Back to Me 5. Life on the Moon 6. Bar-ba-sol 7. Mr. Sensitive 8. Lie 9. I Did It for You 10. Avalanche 11. Permanent 12. A Daily Anthem
BONUS TRACKS 1. Time Of My Life 2. My Last Request (Itunes Pre-Order)
Pink set to release her 5th studio album "Funhouse" on October 24 in North America. However, you can find the album in the internet. To be honest, I'm a bit bias. HAHA. I love her voice cos it's really unique so don't blame me if I give a good review. xD.
The album's packed with a whooping 12 tracks with additional 2 tracks in the international region which confirms gives you a good time listening to this album.
PS. She wanted to name her album "Heartbreak is a Motherfucker" xD. But her record was worried the sales won't go right with the vulgarities. HAHA. The whole album circles around her divorce with her husband, Carey Hart.
1. So What 2. Sober 3. I don't believe You 4. One Foot Wrong 5. Please Don't Leave Me 6. Bad Influence 7. Funhouse 8. Crystal Ball 9. Mean 10. It's All Your Fault 11. Ave Mary A 12. Glitter In The Air 13. This Is How It Goes Down (International Bonus Track) 14. Could've Had Everything (So What B-Side) (Bonus Track)
So What
[10/10]
A rocking single definitely. Catchy. Nice vocals that totally suit the song. Self explanatory. I can't embed the official video so here's the one from her World Premiere.
Someone tell me why she has such good vocals. This song doesn't match up with "So What" but I guess it's a slower song so I think she's done a good job for this. Can't seem to match up to "Who Knew" also. If you know that Kelly Clarkson also has a song called "Sober", Pink's one is so much better. This is her 2nd single I just realised.
-------------------------------------------------------------------- I Don't Believe You
[6/10]
I didn't hear the full song cos it's not loading. I'm not sure about the chorus but the starting wasn't good enough to make an impact. The guitar strumming was good though.
-------------------------------------------------------------------- One Foot Wrong
[4/10]
According to Pink, the song is also about losing control and how easy it is to lose the plot in life and teeter on the edge, according to Pink. Not my type of song. =.=" -------------------------------------------------------------------- Please Don't Leave Me
[8/10]
The background "Da Da Da Da" is actually really nice. This song reminds me of "Who Knew" but in a different style. This song was written more or less about her divorce.
-------------------------------------------------------------------- Bad Influence
[8/10]
Not a very nice song. But I still like it. It's sexual, sensual and fun! And that's what a song should be FUN. Doesn't mean it must be sexual to be nice but we all know that Pink has hidden meanings in her song so I think this song's something expected.
Does the song remind you of another song? I can't remember what it is. But its quite nice for a slow song that she attempts. I think she should stick to songs like "U + Ur Hand" and "Who Knew" rather than this kind. But applaud her for the effort though.
-------------------------------------------------------------------- Mean
[7/10]
Gosh. She sounds so much like Kelly Clarkson. T.T Not exactly her type of song like "Crystal Ball".
-------------------------------------------------------------------- It's All Your Fault
[8/10]
Finally something of better standard. =) -------------------------------------------------------------------- Ave Mary A
[9/10]
Damn. This song's good. Haha. The starting just punches you. Like WOAH! xD.
-------------------------------------------------------------------- Glitter In The Air
[4/10]
Urgh.
Overall. I think her album has made the cut but not as good as the previous ones.
JJ Lin Jun Jie has released his 8th album "Sixology 陸" that encompasses the "It's Your Choice" thinggy that he seems to be spreading. Adding on to that, he does a whole new outlook to the whole style he has with checkered shirt and hat. A different trend and style he sets.
I wonder whether his music's different? Haven't actually heard it yet but Ill try to squeeze time to do a reiview.
The recent spate of depression cases together with a high suicide rate amongst the Entertainment Circle in Korea has caught much attention and Rain has been one of them. According to him, during the time when he was in Hollywood filing in a movie and recording his album/songs, due to the long period of time in an unfamiliar area, he unknowingly got depressed.
Rain said: “This is something that I’ve never experienced before. If I am alone in a confined space or in the midst of a lot of people, I’ll experience breathlessness and will try to breathe in very deeply.” Adding on to that, he had to film a lift scene in the movie “Ninja Assassin” for more than 2 hours and that left him with Altophobia and Claustrophobia
Rain mentioned that artists do not need to hide the fact that they have depression. He added: “I had to be very determined to overcome this problem. Giving up meant letting down on my fans.”
He also added on that during the 3 months of earning of more than $1500000, he said that it was not the money earned that was important but to let the world know about Korean actors and to do Korea proud.
Britney Spears "Womanizer" Music Video is out people.
And it's HOT!
To be honest, I didn't really like the song but after the video, OMGosh. Like wth, it is freakinf nice. Much better than "Gimme More" and a great comeback after "Blackout". She strips for the Music Video but in a decent way. Her sensual and sexual ways are potrayed here but not as bad as previous album "Blackout".
Great job Britney!
I'll be doing her review of her album. Can't wait!
"Human" is the 5th album of American R&B artist Brandy. The album has not been released and the tracks have also not been confirmed.
Suggested Track Listing:
1. Right Here (Departed) 2. Long Distance 3. Torn Down 4. Fall 5. Locked in Love 6. The Definition 7. Camouflage 8. Shattered Heart 9. Piano Man" 10. Warm It Up with Love 11. Acapella 12. True 13. After the Flood
Her first single "Right Here (Departed)" was found in her official website on August 23. I can't seem to find any embed code cos it has been disabled on YouTube so view it here.
[9/10]
Very good song to be her first single. The vocals are being brought to a very high level with her attempting all the strong notes of the song. Something that is very nice to the ears. =) Anyway, the video looks a little pointless with her "movements" but yeah, according to the company, the song's about being there for a loved one, friends or family. Meaningful. Me Like. xD
I don't know if an album of REMIXED VERSION of "Right Here (Departed) is released but I'll review it anyway.
1. Right Here (Departed) (Seamus Haji & Paul Emanuel Club Mix)
[6/10]
The starting's too irritating. However the "slowed" version of the verses and chorus is not bad. A different tune. BUT it got worse towards the end. Too loud-ish.
2. Right Here (Departed) (Moto Blanco Club Mix)
[8/10]
Faster. Upbeat. Nice. =)
3. Right Here (Departed) (Mad Decent Right Mad Mix)
[7/10]
It has it's fast and slow periods but repetative parts are kinda irritaing.
4. Right Here (Departed) (Seamus Haji & Emanuel Radio Edit)
[6.5/10]
Same. Just that I feel there's a slight difference though.
5. Right Here (Departed) (Moto Blanco Radio Edit)
[/10] 6. Right Here (Departed) (Seamus & Manuel Dub Mix)
[5/10]
The start ruins everything. It's a start that you don't feel like listening to the songs even though the behind sounds decent enough.
7. Right Here (Departed) (Moto Blanco Dub Mix)
[6/10]
Bleh. The more I hear the remixes, I kinda get more annoyed. =.="
Long Distance
[7/10]
Her 2nd single. Not as good as her 1st but worth a listen.
I had the "honour" to go out with the gang out to Marina Square to watch "The House Bunny" starring Anna Farris. Together with the "bimbo", the show also stars Anna Faris, Colin Hanks, Emma Stone, Katharine McPhee, Rumer Willis, Dana Goodman, Kiely Williams, Tyson Ritter, and Kat Dennings. Yep. The familiar people, Colin Hanks, eldest son of Tom Hanks, Katharine McPhee (who plays the pregnant woman) whose from American Idol.
Anyway, here's my rating for the movie
[7/10]
FYI, my sister watched the show! Like can you believe it??!
Anyway, the show starts off not exactly THAT exlilarating and everything. But Playboy Mansion? Haha. It's a good idea though.
We move on the story with the bimbotic plot of Shelley (Anna Faris) who has to move out of the flat because she's 27 (in bunny years 59). So she moves out and tries to find a house. She ends up staying in a place called the "Zeta" where all the not-so-pretty girls are. Emma Stone was hot even before she changed.
Yes. So Shelley goes on an "adventure" to save the house and its members by wanting to recruit 30 more applicants. But things start to go wrong when the antagonist, whom we all know is usually blond (in most movies) starts to plot against her. What's more, Shelley gets a crush.
And the songs they use like "Take A Bow", "Girlfriend" etc blends in very well to the movie.
I'm not going to review the whole movie but this show is something you might wanna catch if you run out of options. Though I think getting it on CD/DVD release would also be as good as wacthing it in the cinemas.
PS: Don't say I didn't say about her revealing her butt to the audience. LOL.
I was wondering who the pregnant lady was until the ending when she started singing did I realised that she was Katharine McPhee. Haha. So here's one of the songs she sang for the movie. Oh wait, there's only one.
I Know What Boys Like (Katharine McPhee ft. Cast of House Bunny)
[4/10]
Definitely not a very good song for a movie. It's VERY boring. =.="
Following the successes of 2 High School Musical films made and shown on screen of Disney Channel, High School Musical 3: Senior Year comes back this time bigger, bolder and better. This time, rather than on Disney, it will be on CINEMAS. How cool can that get? Better graphics, visual, screen and close up on the hot people acting. HAHA. Yeah. So gonna catch it.
High School Musical 3: Senior Year Soundtrack is released on Hong Kong on 15 October while the official release will be on 21 October in United States. However, if you are really tempted to get the songs, you can get it here.
Track Listing: 1. Now or Never [Cast] 2. Right Here, Right Now [Zac Efron & Vanessa Hudgens] 3. I Want It All [Ashley Tisdale & Lucas Grabeel] 4. Can I Have This Dance [Zac Efron & Vanessa Hudgens] 5. A Night to Remember [Cast] 6. Just Wanna Be With You [Lucas Grabeel, Olesya Rulin, Zac Efron & Vanessa Hudgens] 7. The Boys Are Back [Zac Efron & Corbin Bleu] 8. Walk Away [Vanessa Hudgens] 9. Scream [Zac Efron] 10. Senior Year Spring Musical Medley [Cast] 11. We're All in This Together (Graduation Mix) [Cast] 12. High School Musical [Cast] 13. Just Getting Started [Stan Carrizosa, winner of Get in the Picture] 14. Last Chance [Cast]
Now Or Never
[8/10]
Addictive. But I kinda find it weird to release this as the first single even though it incorporates all the singers from the cast. Remember "What Time Is It?" from the previous single? Yeah. This song's not bad though there's a lot of extra part where you hear Zac Efron breathing very deeply, panting, then cheer leaders from East High and West High. And most of the time, you hear Zac Efron all the time. =.="
Right Here, Right Now
[7/10]
It's not as good as the previous songs from HSM 1 "Start of Starting New", "Breaking Free" but better than HSM 2's "Everyday". Nonetheless, it exceeds my expectations. This was released as the album's 4th single.
I Want It All
[7.5/10]
BIMBO ALERT. Haha. Yes, Ashley Tisdale never changes her character in HSM3. Actually, she's quite hilarious in "The Suite Life of Zac and Cody". HAHA. The starting part resembles "Fabulous" from HSM 2 Soundtrack and is not really nice. But her vocals for the chorus is really good and the whole song's very upbeat and everything in it. I find this song even better than the duet by Zac and Vanessa. Lucas Grabeel voice is very common on the otherhand, it's just ok only. This song released as the 2nd single.
Can I Have This Dance?
[9.5/10]
FINALLY! The kind of song that I'm expecting Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens to sing. This is so much better lah! This was released as a promotional single. Anyway, Vanessa starts of the song with the right notes and background vocals from Zac Efron complements it. This happens vice versa in the second part. And the chorus, yes, melodic, FLAWLESS! Haha. Superb performance lovebirds! Haha. =)
------------------------------------------------------------------- A Night To Remember
[7/10]
Great song by the cast. Tempo-ic. Rythmic. Me like. Haha. xD. Btw, this is their 3rd single.
------------------------------------------------------------------- Just Wanna Be With You
[7/10]
The starting's too slow. But when it goes into the chorus part, it sounds better. Good music combination together with the lyrics and voices. Luckily they didn't ask Ashley Tisdale to sing this. She can't sing this kind of songs. >,< color="#ff6600">The Boys Are Back
[7/10]
Corny as the title may seem, the song is not bad but not the kind of song that you will get addicted to. It's way better than HSM 2's version of the boys singing "I Don't Dance". To think of the song now, it sounds kinda gay. >,< color="#ff6600">Walk Away
[6/10]
Bleh. I hate this kind of starting. OK. It's not really nice. The standard kinda dropped a lot from "Gotta Go My Own Way"
On the other hand, Zac Efron's solo song is much nicer than Vanessa's. Really good and fast paced song that catches attention of the people. He should start a solo career with this kind of songs.
I wanted to the review for the album "RED CLIFF~心・戦~" which was released on 15 October. But I heard the songs, don't understand so I don't think it'll be a fair description of it. But just to let you people know, you can visit Seirou again for the review. HAHA.
